Amended Final Product

In this version of my project I have increased the size of the my cover image to reduce the amount of negative space and also moved the additional cover lines to the side to avoid the cover image being obstructed this also enabled me to keep additional cover lines the same colour to keep the cover of the magazine consistent. I did though as a result have to change the colour of some of the letters in the main cover line. I have also added the magazines URL near the masthead.

Amended Magazine Draft (Drafting)

This is the next stage of creating my project I have now added the images to my magazine and I have also made some changes in relation to the colours used on the front cover of the magazine. This is due to the colour of the images being to similar to the colour of the puff I have added to the cover of the magazine. I also changed the colour of the quote on the double page spread due to the original image being so similar to the background of the image.

Play List Contents Draft (Drafting)

I have created this draft of my magazine ensure that I could structure the different aspects of the magazine without the images that I will use to see if I feel that the structure for the magazine is correct before committing the images to the magazine. I have included the backing to the article to ensure that the article is still readable when the background it is behind. I have also marked out the areas which i feel that my images should be positioned.

Female Results Graph

This shows the female response to the questions asked on my questionnaire. The graph show that the areas that they wish to see covered in the interview with the cover star include how they got started in music, and where the artist get their song ideas from but are less interested in what they do in their spare time. It also shows that they are also more interested in artist profiles as well as tour dates and information being features in the magazine instead of tutorials and technical information, top 10/50/100 and famous music venues.   

Planning my Photo shoot (Organisation)

I had to plan and organize a photo shoot for my main cover star. To do this I had to decide on how I want my cover star to appear on my the cover of my magazine as well as on the contents page and on the double page spread. I also had to select the location for my shoot to take place as well as ensuring that every one that was required was available at the time at which I was planning to have my photo. I also had to discus with my cover star the clothing that would be suited to the shoot Once at the shoot I had to set the lighting to the that which I felt was suitable for the shoot and making sure that the colour did not affect the look of the photos for example them begin to red or to yellow. I also had to ensure that there was the correct lighting around by artist so that his face was not in shadow.
