SounD

I used two different styles of font on this cover, firstly Informal Roman was used for the main cover line and then Carbon Block was used for the additional cover lines. I used Informal Roman for the cover line as I felt that it was similar in style to the font used to write the bands name but that it was slightly easier to read and so the cover line could be read properly. I then changed the font for the additional cover lines as I felt that in this instance the use of Informal Roman from the entire cover as it would not have been in keeping with the tradition look of this magazine style. The reason for the chose of Carbon Block was that it is similar to that of the font used in the masthead. The reason for the use of white for the cover line was to continue the theme of the band name, the same for the positioning of the main cover line. The reason for red with the additional cover lines was to be similar to the magazines masthead.

The positioning of the additional cover was a due to me personally feeling that positioning them in that position would reduce what would have been lost from the main cover image if positioned else where on the magazine cover.
